Transcription Services

The Vendor is required to provide certified transcription services of discovery materials for trial preparation.
- Perform transcription services through typing and proofing of media files submitted with cases that contain interviews of defendants, witnesses, victims, 911 calls, jail calls, squad video and body cams.
- With this acquisition we hope to obtain certified transcribers, ensure multi-language translation accuracy, reduce the need for staff overtime, better meet court deadlines and increase the efficiency for trial disclosures.
- Address our current office needs based on the following pain points we have encountered: the determination if the transcriber is certified vs qualified, the high-volume of electronic data needing to be transcribed that we are unable to keep up with in-house resources, and the time constraint with meeting deadlines for trial.
- Must have a web interface accessible for submitting and retrieving media files transcriptions. Completed work needs to be in Word format. 
- Expectation for turnaround time is five business days upon receipt of submission for non-urgent orders and next business day upon receipt of submission for urgent orders. 
- Must provide valid certification of completed transcript by employee.
- Our estimated transcript request ranges from 20 to 30 per month.
