The vendor required to provide transcription and stenographic services to the agency on an as needed basis with payments on a fixed cost basis.
- Court transcription and stenographic services
• Provide transcription services, accurately transcribing hearings from CDs provided by office.
• The accuracy rate of all transcriptions shall not fall below 98%.
• The technology to play proprietary audio files (for the record gold) from the CDs provided by office.
• Provide certified reporters experienced in transcribing digitally recorded hearings from FTR gold.
• Office shall not pay the contractor for blank pages or incomplete transcripts which include excessive inaudible sections.
• The capability to attend, record information, and provide transcription services for office hearings, if requested.
• Provide all supplies necessary for accurate and complete reporting of a proceeding, including, but not limited to, sufficient audiotapes, tape recorders, microphones, extend cords and machinery.
• The completed transcript of each hearing heard by office shall be labeled by the contractor by trade name and contained in a separate attachment.
• The pages of each transcript consecutively and produce a table of contents that references at a minimum (1) the page that each parties opening and closing statements (2) the page each witnesses’ testimony begins and (3) the page each exhibit was introduced.
• The completed transcript shall be secured with a removable front and back cover.
• Transcript page must be 8 1/2" x 11" in size, with at least 22 lines per page (1.5 spacing).
• Margins on each transcript page shall not exceed one inch on the right, left, top or bottom portion of the page.
• The pages must be fully justified and double spaced with a size 12 font.
• Required to complete and deliver to office an original hardcopy with certification page, mini-script with index, delivered electronically as attachment by email in either pdf or word format, and electronic version on cd of the transcript.
• Completed transcripts from a hearing sent by contractor to office shall be delivered electronically at the same time in an e-mail.
