The Vendor is required to provide a group program for their insurance brokerage services.
- The goal of this project is to:
• Assess if there are other suitable options for this service.
• Assess rates for this service.
• Assess if the process would allow the group to seek an increase in:
1. Service levels; and/or
2. Levels of communication.
- A qualified insurance broker with public entity experience, to provide the Insurance Program related services (exclusive of the Employee Benefit Program).
- Provided, including activities on individual websites, provide advice regarding insurance requirements including:
• Review existing policies to determine appropriateness of coverage in comparison to existing activities
• Review claims history/information
• Identify insurance products available in market, and recommend levels of coverage based on school requirements, organizational risk tolerance, and estimated probability of risk
1. Identify gaps, if any, between business requirements and existing policies
• Suggest opportunities to reduce risk, either through insurance policy coverage and/or operational procedures/practices/investments
• Suggest deductible tolerances appropriate for areas of coverage and risk tolerance
• Creation of Group Insurance Premium Fund. Exclusive of property insurance.
- Insurance types: Abuse liability (including harassment), additional insured, blanket student and volunteer accident, death and dismemberment, commercial general liability, cyber and data, machinery breakdown, property insurance etc.
- Contract Period/Term: 5 years
