The Vendor is required to provide to assist the system in identifying and securing a comprehensive hospital indemnity benefit solution for the district system that meets the following objectives:
• Delivers high-quality, cost-effective Hospital Indemnity coverage with Guarantee Issue at initial enrollment to all team members.
• Partner with vendor capable of providing ongoing support to both the System and its benefits administration team.
• One award will be given for Hospital Indemnity based on evaluation criteria.
• Partner with vendor capable of delivering superior claims management, risk management services, and ongoing support to both the System and its benefits administration team.
• Delivers high-quality, cost-effective coverage that enhances the System’s team member benefit program.
• Excellent customer service that makes filing a claim easy for the member to complete that focuses on quick and timely payments.
• Ensures the "Hospital Stay" benefit to include maternity/delivery and that there is no "preexisting condition" waiting period for pregnancy if enrolled during the initial rollout.
