The Vendor is required to provide voluntary employee (insurance) benefits products coverages plans include: accident, cancer, disability, critical illness, hospital indemnity (gap), term life, AD&D, whole life and vision.
- Requirement:
• Plans must be clearly explained and identified.
• All costs, including optional programs, must be clearly stated and summarized.
• No telephone or fax proposals will be accepted.
• Mirror current benefit structure and plan design.
• Date as per insurance policy inception date, or after approval by the school board, whichever occurs later
• Master payroll deduction list that includes age, benefit amount and premium for both employee and dependent.
• Life insurance and disability income replacement policies will not be eligible under the district
• Multiple proposals from the same carrier and insurance company will not be accepted.
• Carriers and insurance companies may submit an attached list of agent requesting consideration.
• Services are to include monthly education and enrollment meetings with new employees and annual group education and enrollment will all employees.
• All import census files and open enrollment changes must be uploaded into the new carrier’s system and ready for execution on January 1, 2027.
