The vendor is required to provide planning, procuring, implementing, and managing current and future IT investments and resources.
- Resource and Data Collection
• The consultant shall perform on-site interviews with one to two representatives from each department, current information technology staff, and whoever else the consultant deems relevant.
• Conduct multiple on-site workshops and meetings with key staff in all city departments and the information technology division to determine the city’s desired business and technology needs for the next five years.
• The Consultant shall include charts, graphs, maps, and other data to support the plan's presentation to the appropriate audiences.
• The plan should be designed to succeed within the City’s anticipated available budget and indicate if more resources are needed or should be proposed for consideration.
• The plan should address the following:
o Executive Summary
o Business Alignment
o Current IT Environment Analysis
o Strategic Goals and Objectives
o Key Initiatives
o Technology Roadmap
o Budget and Resource Allocation
o Risk Assessment
o Communication Strategy
