The vendor is required to provide information technology project management and consulting services for the city’s department.
- Consulting Services
- Conduct initial assessments including gap and risk analyses of existing processes and technology, and make recommendations for improvements to various community projects, including but not limited to:
• Inspections management processes and technology needs
• Permit/Inspection intake and approval process
• Customer Support improvements for the Permit Center, Building Administration, and Planning Administration.
• Integration of multiple, overlapping software applications
• Plan review software recommendations and integration into existing platforms
• Use of AI to improve efficiencies across workgroups.
- Provide change management tools and processes that facilitate successful change management across workgroups and departments, to include:
• Development of presentations for key stakeholders
• Development of interdepartmental or citywide communications as needed
• Customized, on-demand training materials for business processes and information systems to support ongoing training needs of existing and future staff.
- Provide recommendations for technology purchases that align with project goals.
