Technology Transfer Services

The vendor is required to provide to assist university with technology transfer services from technology recruitment, through technology analysis and protection, to licensing.
- Review technology transfer processes and help to implement and execute best practice processes and advise university at decision points.
- Provide evaluation, advice, and service to university over the spectrum of the technology protection and commercialization process cycle, including recruitment of inventions from faculty, evaluation of protect ability and market potential, protection strategy, marketing and licensing and post-agreement monitoring.
- Review existing database and protocol processes, revise and implement them as needed for optimal effectiveness during the contract period, and ensure smooth transition to fully in-house services before the end of the contract period.
- The university aims to substantially grow its research impact, including increasing its impact through technologies transferred into the marketplace. 
- The processes and best practices that are optimized and implemented through this contract should be enabling to that growth.
