The Vendor is required to provide a broad range of consulting services, specifically consulting related to information technology (IT).
- Work in this category may involve assistance with strategic planning and oversight of the agency overall IT services and inventory; review and evaluation of current systems and recommendations to improve reliability, performance, and security, and presenting findings in meetings with the officer and other staff as applicable.
- Specific examples of work may include:
• Assessing and implementing various platforms and services
• Developing budgets and cost management plans
• Developing integration, testing, and troubleshooting methodologies and standards as needed
• Designing and implementing disaster recovery solutions for various platforms and services
• VOIP and telecom analysis, troubleshooting, and advice
• Livestreaming and related services
- Auditing and Security
• Work in this category may involve assistance with or performance of technology and security audits and review sessions, review of IT policies and recommendations for improvement, assistance with incident responses and reporting, conducting root cause analysis and recommendation of preventative measures, implementing solutions and ensuring conformance to industry standards.
- Litigation assistance
• Work in this category may include serving as an expert witness for litigation, claims, or other formal cases. It will not require direct legal services.
- IT Architecture
• Work in this category may include building conceptual architectural diagrams, creating current and future state designs, and providing technical specifications.
- Content Management Administrator - Plans development, implementation, and administration of systems to identity, classify, capture, index, store, retrieve, distribute, archive, and destroy electronic content.
- Data Analyst / Scientist – Gathers, analyzes, cleans, and presents statistical, operational, auditing and other data for decision making purposes. Provides insights into the business through statistical analysis and data visualization techniques, may use algorithms to identify trends and predict possible outcomes.
- Developer/Programmer - Develops, modifies, and maintains assigned applications, code sets, and programs which may be complex. At lower levels, collaborates with more senior programmers, developers, and engineers, at higher levels provides input and may direct and lead other developers/programmers. Conducts analysis of new requirements and system defects through diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding. Performs unit level code testing and documents work May assume responsibility for developing new features, unit testing and defect remediation.
- Information Security Analyst - Reviews and analyzes security testing logs. Designs and implements processes and solutions to protect the integrity of sensitive information systems with an appropriate level of protection. Reviews vulnerability scans, makes recommendations for products and processes to improve the security of information systems. To more experience security analysts. Does not typically engage directly with customers or author remediation plans.
- IT Analyst - Advises management after assessing technology requirements and analyzing existing technology platforms. Assists management with conducting analysis of alternatives (AOA) to formally evaluate technology solutions against business needs and requirements. May develop trade studies, analytical models, and simulations to conduct analysis. May directly supervise and direct less experienced analysts.
- Network Systems Engineer - Develops, implements, administers and troubleshoots networks. Ensures that the required infrastructure aligns to policy and directives. Manages and documents network administration activities. Designs and solutions may include physical hardware devices (servers, firewalls, switches, etc.) as well as virtual devices. Implements strategic plans and processes for improving and maintaining accessibility, functionality, and compatibility across multiple complex systems.
- Quality Assurance Analyst - performs quality assurance tasks to ensure that system objectives are met and that solutions function as expected.
- Web Developer - Coordinates with stakeholders to define the scope of their website goals. Develops, improves, and maintains the design, functionality, and flow of websites.
