Public Transit Technology Strategy and Innovation Consulting Services

The Vendor is required to provide technology leadership with insight, guidance, and recommendations regarding industry best practices, emerging trends, and proven approaches applicable to public transit agencies and similar asset-intensive, publicly funded, and safety-critical organizations.
- The consultant will serve in a strictly advisory capacity, providing objective insights, benchmarking, and strategic guidance to inform technology leadership and executive decision-making.
- Excellent understanding of software application management, software vendor management, data engineering, change management, data analytics, report design, regulatory impact on technology, emerging technology, and its potential impact on transit and transit operations.
- Miscellaneous work for emerging technologies may include:
•    Connected, autonomous and electric/hydrogen vehicles;
•    First and last mile connectivity and micro mobility;
•    Mobility as a service (MaaS) and mobility on demand (MoD) and related technologies and strategies);
•    Data analytics infrastructure and advanced reporting capabilities;
•    Artificial Intelligence with potential impacts for Public Transit
•    Funding and financial strategies for advanced technologies;
•    Modeling and simulation for advanced technologies;
•    Emerging technologies alternatives analysis;
