Network IT Infrastructure Equipment, Maintenance and Professional Services

The Vendor is required to provide a comprehensive solution that includes both the ability to purchase hardware, software, and related subscriptions, as well as professional engineering services.
- Must demonstrate capability to supply Cisco and other preferred manufacturer products, provide ongoing maintenance and support, and deliver professional services such as design, implementation, lifecycle management, and strategic consulting.
- The City Network provides connectivity, transport for data, wireless, video and voice. It is designed and maintained using Cisco equipment and products.
- The City Network connectivity is a combination of dark fiber, and Metro Optical Ethernet. It operates 24x7x365 and carries several mission critical functions, including public works (traffic), cloud applications, life safety, and physical security networks.
- While Cisco remains a critical component of the City’s environment, the City seeks partners with broad expertise across multiple platforms and vendors to support a holistic infrastructure strategy.
- As part of the account team, the City wants the option to engage an on-site engineer for up to eight (8) hours per week.
- These resources should have a strong skill set in core IT infrastructure and collaboration applications/technology.
- It is also required that on-site engineers provide documentation and accurate record keeping of any move/add/change equipment serial number, equipment type, and install address via excel spreadsheet.
