The Vendor is required to provide expanded information technology deployment (ITD) program plan and top-level design (PP/TLD), as required by the federal motor carrier safety administration (FMCSA).
- The resulting PP/TLD will:
• Support improved commercial vehicle operations
• Strengthen regulatory compliance
• Enhance interoperability
• Improve targeted enforcement deployment
• Support reduction of commercial vehicle crashes
• Ensure continued eligibility for FMCSA ITD and high priority ITD (HP-ITD) funding
- Requirement:
• Develop a FMCSA-compliant expanded ITD program plan and top-level design (PP/TLD)
• Assess state current ITD core and expanded capabilities
• Identify gaps, integration needs, and enhancement opportunities
• Establish an implementation roadmap, governance structure, and performance framework
• Support continued eligibility for FMCSA ITD and HP-ITD funding
- PP/TLD and system integration
• Overview of existing state and national systems.
• Identification of system modifications required to support core and expanded ITD capabilities.
• Documentation of all interfaces including:
o Interface diagrams
o Data exchange requirements
o Interface types and protocols
o Existing or proposed interface control documents (ICDS)
• Demonstration of interoperability with FMCSA systems and partner agencies.
• Alignment with national its architecture (ARC-IT).
