The Vendor is required to provide information technology maintenance services for include:
• Network services in the form of design, security and maintenance of districts network wired and wireless infrastructure; the planning of network disaster recovery; maintenance and setup of districts network and any hardware or software to deliver administrative and instructional programs.
• Manage a multi-tiered backup strategy including local and daily off-site cloud backups for all critical district data.
• Serve as the technical lead for e-rate, collaborating with the district’s consultant to provide technical specifications, quotes, and deployment data required for annual filings.
• Technology research for new or existing systems, including quotes, for systems, software selection, deployment and computability testing for integration of new products for district.
• Maintenance and installation services shall extend to all district-owned technology, including but not limited to: wireless communication devices, routers, servers, software, switches, firewall, web filters, computers, access points, cameras, projectors, printers, scanners, phones, and copiers.
• Installation includes attaching or installing any type of digital or media device in location for use.
• Installation also includes installing or running data or communication wiring to ensure the products or service has the appropriate connection or connectivity within a single defined space.
• School software support, including but not limited to maintaining the user database for all software and programs, setting up and providing training for teachers and applicable support staff, and maintaining the admin console (including google admin console and Microsoft 365 console).
• Remote assistance consisting of:
o Provide support services by controlling the workstations of end users using a remote access program when you're not on the premises.
o Provide remote monitoring of all IT infrastructure devices (servers, endpoints, firewalls, switches, printers, and so on) throughout the day and night.
• Maintain the user the user database for all educational software and programs and proactively manage application programming interface (API) or manual connections between these programs and student information systems (sis) by working with the contracted consultant for school information systems management of the district.
• Work with software and hardware vendors to set-up and provide initial and “as needed”
• Ensure all audio-visual equipment is properly installed, configured, tested, and fully operational to support planned formal school and district events, including graduation ceremonies, veteran’s day programs, school board meetings, professional development and staff training programs, student performances, awards and recognition ceremonies, assemblies, presentations, and other special events.
• A centralized help desk platform capable of supporting an environment of approximately 200 staff and 1,000 students and families.
• Support must include remote desktop control capabilities for off-site assistance.
• Provide on-site IT support.
• Various technical services to ensure adequate security controls are in place on systems to protect the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of information and promotes and supports information security.
• Develops, evaluates, and manages system security across the network.
• Implements and manages technology electronic inventory management system with bar codes.
• Performs additional tasks such as but not limited to obtaining quotes, assisting with bids, making recommendations for and coordination of converting paper files to an electronic data management and storage system.
