The Vendor is required to provide for professional services related to the acquisition and development of high-resolution LiDAR topographic data in accordance with the survey.
- Provide all aircraft, LiDAR sensors, Global Positioning Systems-aided Inertial Measurement Unit (GPS/IMU) systems, processing software, and professional labor resources necessary to furnish high-quality, QL2-compliant LiDAR topographic data covering all areas within the boundaries of the County supplied project shapefile, generally encompassing Johnson County, Kansas (approximately ~541 square miles).

• ≥90% of artifacts removed (terrain/vegetation dependent)
• ≥95% of outliers removed
• ≥95% of vegetation removed from ground class
• ≥98% of buildings removed from ground class
- The LiDAR dataset will directly support Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP) Program, as well as other County planning, engineering, and emergency management applications.
