The Vendor is required to provide technology transfer consulting services to support the development of institutional processes, policies, documentation, operational workflows, implementation guidance, and training related to intellectual property (IP), innovation management, and commercialization.
- The consultant shall work collaboratively with College stakeholders to assess current institutional capabilities, identify operational and policy gaps, benchmark peer institution practices, and develop scalable frameworks and supporting resources to strengthen the College’s technology transfer and commercialization ecosystem.
- Initiation & Discovery
• Conduct a project kickoff meeting with the project team
• Review existing technology transfer workflows and IP policies
• Conduct stakeholder interviews with relevant College personnel
• Perform peer benchmarking against comparable institutions
• Develop a project management and communication plan
- IP Policy Review
• Review existing IP and commercialization policies
• Perform a gap analysis against higher education and industry best practices
• Provide advisory recommendations for policy revisions
• Assess governance, compliance, and operational considerations related to policy implementation
- Training & Capacity Building
• Develop invention disclosure and commercialization training content
• Record and caption training video(s)
• Prepare faculty, staff, and student guidance materials
• Conduct knowledge-transfer and training sessions for designated College personnel
