Electronics Recycling and IT Asset Disposition Services

The Vendor is required to provide electronics recycling and it asset disposition (ITAD) and eWaste services including, but not limited to:
1. Asset collection and logistics
• On-site pickup from multiple locations (city + school facilities)
• Secure transportation with documented chain-of-custody
• Scheduling flexibility (routine and ad hoc pickups)
2. Inventory and asset tracking
• Serialized asset tracking (barcode or equivalent)
• Detailed inventory reports including:
• Device type
• Manufacturer/model
• Serial number
• Condition
3. Data destruction
• Certified data destruction services including:
• NIST 800-88 compliant wiping
• Physical destruction (shredding) where required
• Certificates of destruction provided for all applicable assets
4. Recycling and disposal
• Responsible recycling in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Zero landfill policy preferred
• Downstream vendor transparency required
5. Value recovery and resale
• Refurbishment and resale of eligible devices
• Revenue-sharing model preferred
• Clear pricing and payout structure
6. Reporting and documentation
• Monthly and annual reporting, including:
• Volumes processed
• Environmental impact (e.g., carbon savings)
• Revenue generated
• Audit-ready documentation
7. Compliance and certifications
• Maintain industry certifications
• Support audits and compliance reviews.
