The Vendor is required to provide information technology (IT) consultant that will the following services:
1. Advice services:
• Expertise and consulting on technology issues related to the authority enterprise systems, document management system, internet service, email and word process software, access control software and contracts in the areas meaningful use, including interface development.
• Authority IT consultant will serve as technology advisor to understand, communicate and propose solutions to authority management and staff to optimize their ability to function efficiently and effectively in all IT matters.
2. Ongoing maintenance/troubleshooting services:
• On-site hands-on assistance with pcs and other equipment.
• Some troubleshooting may be accomplished via phone, e-mail or remote services.
3. Help desk functions:
• Helping staff with daily IT challenges for most systems used by the authority including e-mail, internet, hardware issues, and phone systems.
• A minimum of one on-site day per week will be required, but business needs may require more on-site visits.
4. Setup services:
• Set up new desktops for use, including installing all necessary software, installing printers, creating online shortcuts, etc.
5. Server maintenance:
• Provide server maintenance, which may include monitoring backups, installing patches, upgrades, and replacements.
6. Regularly scheduled backups:
• Perform back-ups of onsite machines to the cloud.
7. Other IT services such as software training on specified software or assistance in developing a disaster recovery plan.
8. If the vendor can offer discount pricing for hardware or software, the authority may purchase through the IT vendor.
9. Quarterly IT ticket reporting and annual it equipment update planning.
10. IT asset management and annual reporting.
11. Manage authority contract with software providers such as website domain service, cloud back-up systems, pdf processing software, security camera recording system, printing management software and others as agreed with authority.
