The Vendor is required to provide to implement and redesign new applications based on the department’s legacy web applications to improve usability, comply with Americans with disabilities act (ADA) standards, streamline workflow, promote integration with other city systems and other vendor systems, manage payments and increase security.
- Ideally, the team will be in a hybrid remote/on-site environment to complete the project(s) and should be available to meet on a regular and as-needed basis.
- Since many of agency web accessible systems will merge mapping technologies and large-scale database systems, it is equally essential for the candidates to possess some level of experience with environmental systems research institute (ESRI) geographic information systems (GIS).
- Implement and redesign new applications based on the department’s legacy web applications:
• Project 1: traffic event asset management system (teams)
• Project 2: agency work order online system (eWork)
- Traffic event asset management system
• A web-based application used to process permits for temporary parking signs throughout the city.
• These permits are used by the film industry, construction companies, law enforcement agencies, and etc. deliverables
• Create an application with .net core
• Integrate with county account for easy authentication management
• Improve the search and map performance
• Design and implement the UI to be ADA compliant
• Create a billing and invoice management portal for city staff to manage the invoice and payments
• Create operation working queue and reports
• Implementation of a customer portal for requesters to manage the requests, track progress, manage the invoice payments online.
• The customer portal should be able to allow accounting staff to reconcile the payments by interfacing the city cash deposit management system (CashWiz).
• ETL data migration to the new server environment - Agency work order online system
• The work order online system (eWork) is an online system that streamlines the work order processes and automates workflow.
• It allows collaborations between engineers and field supervisors to manage the necessary works that need to be done in a project and also allows clear work order instruction for the field crews.
- Specific requirements of the applications are:
• Improve operation working queue and reports
• ETL data migration to the new server environment
• Create a read-only site for users to search work order without editing
• A robust application logging mechanism for easy debugging
