The vendor is required to provide work alone application for iPhone and iPad along with a web-based dashboard to ensure the safety of city employees who are required to work alone or in isolated areas can be effectively monitored.
- Phone app:
• Modern, user-friendly phone app, initially to accommodate approximately 300 employees but allow additional users to be added as required.
• Compatible, at minimum, with iOS on iPhone and iPad as currently supported by apple.
• Adhere to data safety and security as per state information privacy and security (FOIPPA) regulations.
• Provide an accurate GPS location of the iPhone and iPad to ensure employees can be located quickly, including last known location.
• Provide the ability for each individual employee and user to customize items such as check-in timers, work hours, and allow easy check-in and check-out at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Provide an easy method for the employee to send an emergency alert if injured or endangered.
• Provide regular updates to work with current operating systems.
- Dashboard:
• Web based and compatible and able to operate within a microsoft operating system.
• Allow for multiple administrators including security services, department supervisors and managers to access the dashboard.
• Allow easy addition and removal of employees from the monitoring system.
• Be regularly updated to function with current operating systems.
- Support and service:
• Offer support and clear training during implementation to ensure security staff, supervisors, managers, and end users understand the features and benefits of the phone app and dashboard.
• Offer ongoing support and service during the length of the contract period, including extensions.
