Application Managed Services

The Vendor is required to provide for maintenance and enhancement services for its software applications. 
- need to demonstrate considerable experience, skill and judgement using proven IT service management practices.
- Responsible for the management and administration of aviation related transportation programs within the Commonwealth.
- This includes airport planning and programming, environmental compliance, engineering oversight of airport development/maintenance projects, airport inspection and licensing, on-demand flight services, aviation grant program administration and Bureau administration and support.
- Custom developed web-based applications written in a number of conventional programming languages and hosted on various platforms such as but not limited to Java, .NET, and Domino.
- These applications would have connections to other applications and systems within the Commonwealth network boundaries. Occasionally, applications might have data or external application requirements with vendor hosted systems.
- Web application development processes employ Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards and integrate with the Delivery Center’s Continuous Integration – Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) process thru the standard integrated development environment.
- The Data Administration Section is responsible for data gathering and reporting, data conversion, business intelligence, cloud technologies, and other data management needs, including the enterprise content and electronic signature services.
- The GIS Section provides geospatial platform services and custom applications.
