Outdoor Tourism Mobile App Review, Updates and Implementation Services

Vendors to provide review, restructure, update, and support the launch of Wayne County’s existing outdoor tourism mobile application.
- App platform to improve the app’s organization and update content, visitor resources, badge/challenge functionality, quality assurance, and launch readiness.
- A. STQRY Discovery and Implementation Planning
• Review the existing app structure and available STQRY functionality.
• Meet with STQRY to confirm what can be configured within the current platform.
• Develop the implementation plan, responsibilities, timeline, and content requirements.
• Coordinate with STQRY throughout implementation.
B. Navigation and Information Architecture Restructuring
• Rebuild the current trails tab into an outdoor asset directory.
• Organize content into categories such as trails, water, parks, nature centers, birding locations, and other outdoor assets.
• Add a resources section linking to relevant Wayne County dining, lodging, trip-planning, weather, safety, accessibility, and visitor information.
C. Content Standards, Templates, and Taxonomy
• Create a standardized location template.
• Establish consistent amenity and accessibility labels.
D. Content Audit, Editing, and Implementation
• Add or update addresses, coordinates, mapping links, parking information, restrooms, shade, water access, cell service, accessibility details, trail difficulty, distance, estimated time, and what-to-expect information.
• Review linked audio, video, and supplemental resources and remove redundant or irrelevant material.
• Update 30 locations.
E. Badge-Program Recommendations and Configuration Support
• Audit and simplify the current badge inventory.
• Develop a tiered badge and challenge structure.
• Establish recommendations for check-ins, achievement thresholds, and possible incentives.
• Prepare the initial badge or challenge program for app launch.
F. Quality Assurance, Revisions, and Launch Support
• Review the app on iOS and Android.
• Test navigation, maps, external links, badges, location pages, and resource links.
• Complete revisions
• Support final publication and establish baseline analytics.
G. Client Communication and Project Management
• Provide client calls, emails, project coordination, ongoing meetings, and client communications.
