Medical Services

The vendor is required to provide medical services for ensuring the health of all residents and providing prompt assessment and treatment as needed of healthcare complaints.
- Medical services to the resident youth, ages 12-20 years.
- The anticipated on-site need is 1-2 hours per week with 2 hours of telephone consultation per month.
- Provide necessary medical care to agency residents to include:
• Physical examination within 7 days of resident admission
• STI screening and treatment
• Substance abuse screening
• Minor office procedures and testing
• Close monitoring of residents with health conditions
• Medical management and immunizations
• Routine follow up
• Other medical evaluations as needed
• Telephone consultations as needed
- Provide appropriate referrals to specialist for medical conditions that cannot be properly treated by the contractor.
- Provide written standing order/protocols for agency nursing for routine assessment and treatment of residents.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
