The Vendor is required to provide of emergency ambulance services for the city.
- Must include the name, telephone number and 24-hour contact information for the ambulance service’s Medical Director.
- Emergency and non-emergency medical transportation services, including ALS and BLS transport.
- 24/7/365 availability to respond to emergency calls dispatched through the METCAD 9- 1-1 public safety answering point (PSAP) serving city county.
- Ability to integrate with the METCAD 9-1-1 public safety answering point (PSAP) serving city county.
- EMS coverage for special events within the service area, as requested by the city and the university.
- Mass casualty incident (mci) response capability, with evidence of sufficient resources and established protocols.
- Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
- A minimum of four (4) Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances shall be staffed and dedicated exclusively to the City for 911 coverage within the CFD response area, 24/7/365.
- Peak call time staffing during peak call times (to be determined by CFD and Carle), the ems provider shall staff an additional ALS ambulance to prevent any delay in response or patient care.
- Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) dispatching technology shall be implemented and used at all times for accurate and efficient ambulance deployment.
- Provide evidence that clearly documents the financial history of the organization and its ability to provide uninterrupted service throughout the contract period.
- All financial information should be reported for the operational unit responsible for delivery of EMS services.
