The Vendor is required to provide strategic guidance, document development, and project management support through accreditation.
- This mission is reflected in the University’s sustained support for faculty scholarship, including the generation of new knowledge and its dissemination and application to address regional, national, and global needs.
- The consultant must have direct experience supporting multiple veterinary programs through accreditation, including successful outcomes.
- These include the following current doctoral programs: Pharmacy, Physician Assistant, and Physical Therapy.
- General Consultant Responsibilities
• Provide end-to-end accreditation support for agency standards
• Serve as lead advisor on accreditation readiness and strategy
• Support development, editing, and alignment of all accreditation documents
• Conduct gap analyses and assist with mock site visits
• Advise on curriculum alignment with accreditation standards
• Assist with outcomes assessment and continuous improvement processes
• Provide guidance on faculty, facilities, and clinical resources compliance
• Support preparation for site visits including stakeholder training
• Advise on risk mitigation and accreditation strategy
• Manage development and implementation of multiple corporate partnerships
• Work closely with agency leadership to design curriculum and infrastructure needs
• Assist agency in developing finance plans for infrastructure, and evaluation of potential financing partners
• Manage accreditation process including preparation of documents, pro formas, and site visits: the consultant will assist agency administration and faculty by serving as a project manager and editor with development documentation and language for the agency council on education standards for accreditation for the doctor of veterinary medicine program, and agency committee on veterinary technician education and activities for the veterinary technology program.
• Assist agency in planning for possible veterinary technician program after opening of veterinary school.
