The Vendor is required to provide medical services at county-designated emergency shelters during activation of the emergency operations center (EOC) mass care function.
- Services required:
• Provide basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) services as-needed in accordance with chapter 401, state statutes.
• Assess and treat shelter occupants requiring medical attention.
• Coordinate with the local fire department or ems provider for patient transport.
- Medical support services are required to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of shelter occupants during activations.
