The Vendor is required to provide occupational medicine services for a three-year term with the option to renew for an additional two (2) year term commencing January 1, 2027.
- Requirement:
• Physical examinations: post-conditional offer of employment physicals; specialized physicals for public safety positions; return to duty and fitness for duty evaluations; dot medical examinations and other required occupational medicine examinations on an as needed basis; and annual physicals as permitted by union contracts;
• Occupational health monitoring services: communicable disease monitoring, prevention, treatment and other services, including but not limited to audiometer and pulmonary fitness testing;
• Drug and alcohol screening: pre-employment screening for safety sensitive positions, federal dot regulated random screening, post-accident and reasonable suspicion screening, and random screening as permitted by union contracts.
• Occupational injury and illness: related emergency treatment and initial report to insurance carrier;
• Return to work services, including functional capacity evaluation and work hardening program;
• Worksite evaluations, including consultation on requests for reasonable accommodation or light duty, and ergonomic evaluations;
• Employee education and training services.
