The vendor is required to provide professional services in the design, configuration and physical installation of the department replacement; plus, installation of network rack, ups and grooming of cables.
- To perform its due diligence in performing the following at all 51 library sites at a minimum:
• Document hardware components/wavelengths to aid in the designing and procurement of matching hardware.
• Design, document and procure approved hardware/software as to replace the existing Sorrento hardware.
• Remove Sorrento hardware and replace with passive DWDM hardware or approved comparable hardware and configured.
• The 1ge channels currently sourced by the Sorrento DMMs will be decommissioned, the DMMS removed, and 10g channels will be provisioned across the new cisco 15216 OADMS by placing poetics, capable of supporting the appropriate channels.
• Monitoring and tuning of network gear until results are as expected.
• Care and coordination will all “iNET” partner and stakeholder to ensure no circuit is adversely impacted.
• Documentation and transfer of knowledge to HSPLS it staffs and/or selected partner(s)
• The equipment for this project was purchased using e-rate funds.
• The awarded vendor must label all equipment as e-rate with an identifying funding request number to per provided by HSPLS.
• Providers must participate in the universal service support mechanism for schools and libraries as provided for and authorized under the federal telecommunications act of 1996
• Bidders acknowledge that any contractual relationship resulting from this ITB may be partially or entirely dependent upon HSPLS’ successful receipt of fund subsidies.
• Bidder(s) must comply with all applicable fund regulations, program mandates and auditing requirements
• Fund knowledge providers shall have, at a minimum, working knowledge of the federal universal service support mechanism for schools and libraries
• Fund registration providers shall submit a valid service provider identification number (“spin”) and federal communications commission registration number (“FCCRN”).
