Asbestos Abatement Project Management Services

The vendor is required to provide for asbestos abatement consulting/project management services include:
• Weekly inspection of the project to ensure that the contractor is performing the abatement in compliance with the specifications developed by environmental testing and management, Inc. and all applicable regulations.
• Inspection of the abated area (visual inspection) on each building once that building has been abated.
• Monitoring the asbestos abatement contractor’s progress to evaluate compliance with the established schedule.
• To be available on an as-needed basis to resolve questions or problems regarding the asbestos abatement project.
- Air Monitoring Services:
• Agency regulations governing asbestos abatement require asbestos air sampling to be conducted for friable asbestos abatement projects.
• Asbestos consultant/project manager will provide one agency licensed air sampling professional to conduct the required air monitoring during the course of the project.
