The vendor is required to provide to obtain an american disabilities act (ADA) consultant to provide on-call services to advise on ADA compliance issues at the complex and other projects and venues in state on an as-needed basis.
- provide all goods and services and meet all of the requirements requested in this solicitation and the successful Offeror shall remain responsible for Contract performance regardless of subconsultant participation in the work
- ADA Consultant Requirements
• Advising on ADA compliance issues;
• Document Reviews;
• Field investigations;
• ADA surveys; and
• Expert Testimony
- Implementation
• MSA reserves the right to request information from the Consultant for review and evaluation for specialized project to determine the appropriateness of the particular Consultant firm for such work
• the Consultant fee proposal may be a time and material or a lump sum compensation to be provided to the Consultant by the MSA, except any items for which a not-to-exceed allowance may have been established in the Consultant’s fee proposal.
• MSA will issue a Task Order to the On-Call Consultant’s firm for individual task orders/projects
- Reimbursable Expenses
• Long-distance telephone calls and telegrams, express mail, commercial messenger service, hand delivery, and/or overnight delivery services;
• Fees paid for securing approval of authorization having jurisdiction over the on-call project
Costs of reproduction, postage, deliveries and handling of drawings, specifications and other documents • excluding all in-house reproductions (reproductions normally made on the Consultant’s owned or leased equipment) for the office use of the Consultant and the Consultant’s Consultants
• Costs of photographic production techniques
• Expense of rendering, presentation materials, models, videos, and photographs when authorized in advance in writing by the Owner
• Cost of public stenographic services and transcripts for meetings as and when required by the Owner
• Any reimbursable expense items other than travel and living expenses of the Consultant and its employees for trips to the Project area and reasonable telephone expenses requiring expenditures in excess of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per each separate occasion, shall require prior written approval of the Owner
- Compliance with Laws
• Consultant agrees to comply with all existing laws, codes, rules, and regulations set forth by appropriate authorities having jurisdiction in location where Services are performed
- Safety and Damages
• The successful Offeror shall take all necessary precautions for the safety of employees on the work crew to prevent accidents or injury to persons on, about, or adjacent to the premises where the work is being performed.
• All work shall be done in accordance with Federal, State and Municipal laws and codes
- Security Requirements
• Consultant badges are not admission to baseball or football game(s).
• The Consultant’s employees shall be required to sign in daily at the service level security checkpoint to receive a work credential. Only employees with a valid ID will be issued a credential
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
- Pre-Proposal Conference Date: April 04, 2025
