The Vendor is required to provide a competent and qualified supplier to provide accreditation consulting services.
- The anticipated effort for this project is 40-50 hours per month.
- The anticipated accreditation process will be 12-14 months.
- Engineering extension is pursuing accreditation for its non-credit adult and continuing education programs by the international accreditors for continuing education and training (IACET).
- Assess current college procedures for development, delivery, and evaluation of adult professional and continuing education non-credit courses.
- Develop procedures to:
• Determine qualifications for instructors for each program or course,
• Hire qualified instructors for each program or course,
• Conduct a needs analysis for programs or courses,
• Develop curriculum based on needs analysis including learning outcomes, instructor and student materials, audiovisuals, and evaluation of learning outcomes, and
• Revision of curriculum based on evaluation results.
- Prepare accreditation application, forms, and documents for submission to IACET.
- Attend IACET accreditation workshop.
- Coordinate meetings with college staff and faculty as needed during the accreditation process.
- Make recommendations to associate dean and engineering extension heads on changes required in operating procedures and the organizational structure required to meet accreditation requirements.
