The vendor is required to provide company and proposed solution will best meet the city’s needs for disaster debris removal and debris management services.
- To remain prepared and able to respond to a natural or man-made disaster in an effective and efficient manner, the city seeks to establish one or more contracts for disaster debris removal, reduction, disposal and other emergency cleanup services following a disaster event.
- The specialized management of disaster response and recovery operations for the purposes of debris removal services, and the preparation, response and recovery phases of any emergency or disaster.
- Ability to rapidly mobilize and respond to potential wide-scale debris volumes as generated by a hurricane, as well as localized small-scale volumes typical of a tornado or ice storm.
- Services shall include, but are not limited to:
• Emergency road clearance
• Right of way (ROW) and public property debris removal
• Hazardous stump, tree, and hanging limb removal
• Right of entry (ROE) debris removal
• Temporary debris management site operations
• Debris reduction, grinding and processing
• Debris disposal and recycling
• Hazardous or toxic waste removal and disposal.
