The vendor is required to provide technical and training support to community-based organizations (CBOs), thereby removing barriers to the grant application process for CBOs and empower them to successfully receive grant funding and effectively implement targeted programming to underserved populations.
- Professional service provider who can provide evidence-informed services to support CBOs to develop strategies for implementing, tracking and monitoring effective outcomes for those they serve.
- The professional service provider will identify and facilitate CBOs participation in evidence-supported training opportunities to further their efforts to serve targeted populations.
- One priority is to connect youth and families to population specific CBOs that provide victim services, prevention initiatives, reentry services, and other means of support.
- Provide CBOs with training and technical support to build the CBOs contracting, procurement, and effective implementation capacity, thereby strengthening the sustainability and capacity of these organizations.
- The offerors plan should span four years and include the following:
• Technical and training assistance professional support (TTAPS) to support CBOs as these organizations work to identify or improve their effective intervention strategies.
• TTAPS will also include assisting CBOs to develop strategies for tracking and monitoring effective outcomes.
• Training and assisting CBOs in the navigation of the grant application process at the local, state, and federal level.
• Training and technical assistance to CBOs to implement trauma-informed restorative practices tailored to the specific needs of organization.
• Support of CBOs existing crisis intervention training models intended to divert youth to needed behavioral health services.
• Support CBOs in identifying and improving their intervention strategies.
• Assisting CBOs in developing strategies for tracking and monitoring effective outcomes.
• Identification and facilitation of participation in evidence-supported training opportunities.
• Guidelines for compensating justice-impacted youth and their families for their expertise, to include transportation and meals.
