Grant Obtainment Consultant Services

The vendor is required to provide a consultant to identify and secure potential grant and other funding opportunities for the county and to provide the services described and proposed but not limited to the following services:
• Familiarize themselves with current and prospective county projects and initiatives, when requested in writing by the county. 
• Identify potential grant and other funding sources for such county projects and initiatives. 
• Alert, on a regular basis or as opportunities arise, appropriate county of officials regarding potential grant and other funding sources for county projects and initiatives. 
• When requested, attend meetings of county officials regarding various projects and initiatives and advise such officials with respect to grant and other funding opportunities for such projects and initiatives.
• The consultant shall take all actions necessary to prepare and submit the grant and funding application to the appropriate entity in accordance with the timelines and procedures specified for each respective submission.
• These actions shall include, but not be limited to, gathering the necessary application information, meeting with county officials, coordinating with the appropriate agencies and individuals, attending required public meetings and forums, preparing citizen participation plans, preparing environmental review records, etc.
• Respondents must be familiar with state, federal, private and other potential grant funding sources and must be equally familiar with the methodology required for obtaining such grant funding sources.
• Respondents must be knowledgeable of, and show experience with the writing of grants including but not limited to, community block grants, community development grants, environmental grants, historic preservation grants, and economic development grants.
