The Vendor is required to provide for comprehensive aviation planning services.
- Inventory existing airport administration office spaces across multiple facilities
- Determine features of existing administration facilities (sizes, worker and airport vehicle parking capacity)
- Forecast airport administration employment
- Determine future size requirement for the new airport administration building that is sufficient to accommodate expansion for 2050 demand.
- Create simple block layouts for five potential sites that have been identified in coordination with airport staff
- With airport staff input, narrow the search to two shortlisted sites
- Assess utilities impacts of each shortlisted site
- Assess environmental/local impacts (streams, wooded areas, and existing structures) for each shortlisted site based on readily available information
- Evaluate and compare each shortlisted site for up to eight criteria including:
• Required roadway improvements
• Parking improvements
• Terminal access
• Environmental/local impacts
• Architectural/structural requirements
• Utilities demand
• Other as determined by the study
• Compare two preferred sites for costing
- Prepare list of enabling projects for two shortlisted sites
- Prepare a rough order of magnitude (rom) cost estimate for the two shortlisted sites and prepare a summary of assumptions and resulting costs.
- Prepare PowerPoint slide deck for use in meetings
- Hold three meetings with airport staff:
• Review requirements and assumptions
• Review block diagrams of five sites and create shortlist
• Review evaluation of sites and selection of two preferred sites for costing
• Prepare technical memorandum.
