Utility Consulting Services

The vendor is required to provide consulting services to migrate GIS data models to schneider electric Arc Fm xi to remain in current support with our GIS vendors, Esri and schneider electric, as well as increase the performance of our data network models.
- Solution which consists of the following components:
1. Implementation services to upgrade from Arc Fm 10.8.1 to Arc Fm xi
•    Arc Fm fiber manager
•    Arc Fm editor
•    Arc Fm conduit manager
•    Arc Fm server
•    Wave point
2. Data conversion
•    Professional will convert all data required for the implemented solution to function as designed and meet all defined requirements. 
•    Professionals must note that the city requires that all converted data is usable in the Arc Fm xi software. 
•    The city expects the professional to review all conversion decisions to ensure adequate data is being converted to meet operational business needs.
3. Software installation and configuration
•    Broadband utility expects the professional to install the base software, prepare it for access, and perform set-up and configuration activities.
- Utility application architecture
1. Database
•    A versioned arc SDE database including broadband and conduit. 
•    The database is being managed by a third-party vendor. 
•    Conduit is a shared structured network utilized by both light and power and broadband. 
•    Database will be migrated to a separate microsoft SQL server database for broadband.
2. Server
•    Arc Fm 10.8.1 is housed on a windows server operating system.
3. GIS desktop
•    Arc map version 10.8.1.x is used with the Arc FM desktop.
4. Enterprise portal
•    Leverage city of enterprise portal for applications and services.
5. Wave point
•    Read only application viewer for field crews and engineering services.
