The Vendor is required to provide for insurance consulting and risk management services.
- Work with the Township to assess its risks and to design and develop its insurance program.
- Assist with documentation, application, and other steps to obtain commitments for and implement the Township’s insurance program upon the Township’s instructions.
- Follow up with insurance carriers for timely issuance of policies and endorsements; provide policies to the Township within 30 days of binding coverage.
- Following placement, deliver binders or digital packets prior to the expiration of the Township’s current policies.
- Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and conformity to specifications and negotiated coverages; request, implement, and monitor all required changes.
- Utilize the services of other intermediaries to assist in the marketing of the Township’s insurance when, in the judgment of the Consultant, those services are necessary or appropriate.
- Monitor exposure changes and recommend amendments to policies or programs as appropriate.
- Review audits, rating adjustments, dividend calculations, and loss data.
- Coordinate premium and deductible billing; verify the accuracy of bills, audits, modifications, and other premium adjustments.
- Assist the Township in connection with issues relating to interpretation of insurance policies placed by the Consultant.
