Continuous Improvement and Business Analyst Services

The vendor required to provide business analyst staff to work alongside current comptroller employees supporting continuous improvement projects within the divisions.
- State staff and roles
•    State project manager (or supervisor)
•    Provide a state project manager who will be responsible for assigning work to all contractor staff.
- Other state responsibilities
•    Provide normal office working facilities and equipment reasonably necessary for contractor performance under the contract.
•    The state is responsible for providing required information, data, documentation, and system access to facilitate the contractor’s performance of the work and will provide such additional assistance and services as is specifically set forth.
- Responsibilities and tasks
•    Provide all services outlined in this solicitation, in accordance with standards and procedures established by the state, for a period of ten (10) months beginning when the contract is approved and ending (10) months later.
•    Responsible for identifying, prioritizing, executing, completing, and reporting on continuous improvement projects within each division. 
•    These projects will aim to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and security of agency operations and may include:
o    Developing documentation or training for existing business processes. 
o    Identifying and offering recommendations to remediate gaps in internal control. 
o    Developing or coordinating with technical support staff to develop or enhance tools or workflows within existing applications in the com technology environment, including excel, share point, power bi, service-now, KAPs, and revenue premier. 
o    Reengineering business processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, cost, or employee satisfaction. 
o    Providing quality assurance testing or supporting the design and development of business processes which are migrating into new applications.
•    Expected to divide their time as equally as possible between the two divisions.
