The Vendor is required to provide emergency medical services (“EMS”) for approximately 16,700+ residents within the town’s corporate limits of 24.4+ square miles.
- The net revenue generated through fee-for-service billing (such revenue being the amount received from such billing, less the overhead and administrative costs for such billing) is turned over to the Town, as it is deemed to be a municipal fee.
- Bills and collects from users of EMS a fee-for-service charge based upon the universally recognized level of care (advanced life support or basic life support) provided.
