The vendor required to provide consultant services to facilitate a pre-trial diversion development advisory council that will provide recommendations concerning pre-trial diversion initiatives at the state and local levels; and collaborate with department, the advisory council, and others to implement recommendations from the final report.
- Pre-trial diversion implementation advisory council:
• Under the direction of the forensic bureau, the supplier will assist with convening and facilitating of the pre-trial diversion planning and development advisory council comprised of stakeholders in the forensic behavioral health system and partners
• The advisory council will assist with statewide needs assessment and gap analysis and strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (swot) analysis.
- Report of findings and recommendations for establishment of pre-trial diversion pathways:
• Under the direction of the forensic bureau, the supplier, taking input and feedback from the advisory council, will provide a report of findings and recommendations as they relate to identified evidenced based and promising practices in the area of pre-trial diversion programs.
- Technical assistance:
• The consultant will provide technical assistance and support to department leadership and staff, as well as the advisory council.
• Technical assistance is to be provided throughout the planning and development phase.
• This will include weekly meetings with the forensic bureau and every two weeks to monthly meetings with the advisory council.
