Professional and Consulting Services

The vendor required to provide professional and consulting services are paid on a fee basis for specialized services that are usually considered to be temporary or short-term in nature, normally in areas that supplement the expertise of district.
- Consulting services- esc service exclusions
•    Consulting services does not include contracted services provided by an esc, education service center. 
•    Services provided by an esc are considered contracted services. 
•    Examples of contracted services provided by esc are data management and data processing services, accounting or bookkeeping services, printing services, media services, special education services, career and technical education services, staff development, curriculum development, and drug prevention training.
- The following are samples of acceptable consulting and professional services:
•    Authors
•    Band
•    Cheer design
•    Choreography
•    Color guard consultants
•    Classroom presenters
•    Drill team
•    Event planning and services
•    Presenters and speakers
•    Financial analysis
•    Technology analysis
•    Operations analysis
•    Staff development training
•    On-line learning and virtual school.
