- Requirement:
• Collaborating with local organizations and stakeholders to promote community involvement
• Manage engagement processes, project schedules, and roles and responsibilities.
• Design processes that set the table for collaborative decision-making.
• Plan and design workshops, focus groups, stakeholder discussions, discussion groups and interviews, both in person and online.
• Develop engagement plans and strategies that support inclusive and impactful public participation in facility and site management and planning and policy processes and decision-making.
• Facilitate multiple groups that may have diverse participants with varying needs, using inclusive and engaging facilitation approaches
• Facilitation may be for a one-time convening of a group or over the course of a longer process.
• Produce visual materials such as maps, infographics, print products, and digital content that may be used in engagement activities.
• Engage diverse and underrepresented communities, businesses, and community-based organizations.
• Create culturally specific messages and materials to support engagement and outreach efforts to people who speak limited english and underserved communities.
• Coordinate or provide translation and language interpretation services and other accessibility services.
• Coordinate event logistics and services, including securing and prepping act accessible event locations, arranging catering, childcare, and clean-up, setting up necessary technology, and other event coordination needs.
• Develop and conduct quantitative and qualitative engagement surveys and questionnaires.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from engagement activities.
• Provide written summaries of engagement to the county that include data analysis, session details, demographics represented, and key themes and takeaways.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of engagement activities and providing feedback for improvement.
