The Vendor is required to provide visioning and stakeholder engagement professional service for include:
1. Convene visioning sessions and build momentum
• To ensure the process is grounded in local context while maintaining a regional perspective, the successful firm should formalize a representative group to act as the primary feedback loop throughout this work.
• Convene a series of sessions to overview the work and process, vet community engagement strategies, and ensure the process remains transparent and inclusive.
2. Conduct comprehensive needs assessment
• Gather and analyze multi-year trends in enrollment, academic performance, school climate, and finances, by town, school, and grade;
• Review existing reports on school spaces and infrastructure to identify where physical constraints are currently hindering the educational vision;
• Conduct 10-20 focus groups and interviews with district leaders, school staff, governing boards, and town select people to identify operational pain points, governance hurdles, and aspirations of the district from those leaders;
• Share a synthesis of the quantitative and qualitative findings with all stakeholders.
3. Engage the community on priorities and vision
• Deploy a district-wide survey to capture the aspirations, concerns, and priorities of parents and residents across all member towns
• Host interactive community meeting(s) in each town to allow for face-to-face dialogue regarding the vision for the student experience and facilities.
• Distill feedback into a set of priorities and aspirations that represent the community's greatest needs in the school system and district configuration and share that feedback with the all stakeholders.
