- Listening session facilitation:
1. Services contractor listening sessions:
• Design and execute approximately 4-6 initial virtual listening sessions.
• Ensure representation from department five administrative areas
• Identify key themes, gaps, needs, and opportunities.
• Identify feedback regarding:
o Original program goals
o Implementation challenges and successes for each program component and stage of the services continuum
o Success and challenges of client segments, particularly clients who are not adequately served by services and the transitional aged youth population
o Priority recommendations re: program specs, payment model, and contract monitoring
2. Services client and family listening sessions:
• Design and execute approximately 4-6 initial listening sessions.
• Ensure representation from department five administrative areas
• Approach to meetings (i.e., number, size, structure, virtual and in-person) is flexible.
• Identify key themes, gaps, needs, and opportunities.
• Summary of attendees' feedback re:
• Client and family experience, including members of historically disadvantaged groups, including non-English and ASL speakers
• Core benefits of services enrollment for clients and families (by program component, if possible)
• Challenges and barriers experienced while receiving services
• Summary of client and family recommendations:
o Working and should not change about services
o Services needs to improve for clients to be successful
o They want these aspects to look like in the future
3. Stakeholder re-engagement:
• Design and execute listening sessions with services stakeholders to review proposed changes to services following department review of initial feedback
• Minimum of two (2) client and family sessions and three (3) services contractor sessions.
