The Vendor is required to provide state and local government consulting services for include:
• Advice of possible programs and activities, based on experience with projects and activities of various agencies, for which authority may make application.
• Advise of pending legislation or regulations that might materially impact projects and activities of authority.
• Represent authority, if and when requested, in hearings before various state legislative and executive bodies, city council, and in contacts with individuals involved in legislative or executive process on a state and local level.
• Assist in prompt approval of grant applications filed with state and local agencies.
• Actively assist in seeking and developing funds for authority projects.
• Assist in security permits and approvals that might be occasionally required from state and local government, or any of its agencies.
• Assist authority in developing an annual state legislative agenda to be adopted by authority senior management.
• File any required lobbyist disclosure reports in accordance with state government lobbying regulations.
• Submit a monthly report of activities to the authority.
• The report, and a detailed listing of any expense items, will be sent with the invoice for the preceding month.
• Consult with the authority, authority board of directors or designees, for discussion on state and local issues.
• Perform as-needed services that are not specifically enumerated, but similar in nature, at the direction of the authority CEO or designee.
