The Vendor is required to provide affordable housing development and modernization assistance work under a task order structure where specific assistance duties and deliverables will be assigned with particular scope of work for that task order based upon negotiations between the authority and the consultant.
- Development, redevelopment and modernization opportunities:
• Assist in prioritizing development opportunities
• Identify opportunities for acquisition or new construction of affordable housing
• Assess available development and funding opportunities
• Prepare and implement development strategies
• Provide financial modeling
• Prepare applications to obtain financing for new development and redevelopment activities.
• Prepare mixed finance applications for HUD public housing development
• Seek to leverage authority resources and outcomes
• Assist with neighborhood or community process
• Review and analyze state and federal affordable housing policy
• Assist in securing needed due diligence (e.g. Site survey, market study, etc.)
• Assist in relocation and construction phasing planning
• Project management support related to implementation of development, redevelopment and modernization opportunities
• Assist in research and identification of new sources of funding for authority utilization.
• Assist staff in reviewing project schedules and assessing critical pat activities and barriers to achieving
• Review of development or financing plans
• Training to authority staff in affordable housing topics or areas
• Prepare template documents for authority staff use for development and modernization activities
• Other development and modernization assistance activities as required by authority.
