The Vendor is required to provide services for performing visual and non-destructive evaluation (NDE) data collection, analysis, and reporting services for eight (8) bridge structures located in county.
- Calculate and present quantities of deficiencies grouped by total deck area, by individual span, and by deficiency type.
- Provide high resolution digital image files of all condition maps suitable for review, presentation, and recordkeeping, separate from the written report.
- Create condition maps that combine visual imagery and infrared thermography results to show surface and subsurface indicators of deck condition.
- Generate maps estimating concrete and/or wearing surface cover thickness, defined as the depth from the top of the deck surface to the top of the first layer of reinforcing steel, displayed as color coded heat maps.
- Assign a unique identification number to each deficient finding to allow direct cross referencing among reports, maps, CAD files, images, and tables.
- Provide structured digital datasets listing each deficient finding with its unique identification number, deficiency type, estimated surface area, spatial location using coordinates and/or grid based X Y positions, general depth ranges where applicable, and crack width and length when visible.
- Prepare a written condition report for the target bridge that documents the data collection technologies used, the methods applied, and any limitations, and include condition maps showing deficient areas overlaid on a plan view of the bridge deck surface.
- Comprehensive digital report documenting visual and infrared nondestructive evaluation results for the bridge deck, including a narrative summary of inspection methods and technologies; plan view condition state maps with five or ten foot grid referencing; visual and infrared imagery; scaled computer aided design files with findings mapped as polygons and polylines; heat maps illustrating concrete or wearing surface cover thickness; summary tables quantifying deficient areas by deck, span, and deficiency type; and detailed comma separated value tables listing individual findings with unique identification, classification, dimensions, depth indicators, and spatial location.
