The Vendor is required to provide legal services for consultation and legal advice covering any subject of a corporate legal nature.
- Legal counsel shall provide services with services as follows:
• Review or preparation of project authorizations, contracts, leases, deeds, grant applications, etc., and all correspondence incident thereto.
• Legal research and preparation of legal memoranda.
• Letter writing.
• Investigative and factual research, including ascertaining facts and taking statements of all parties.
• Telephone conversations or other efforts to settle cases or problems short of litigation.
• Conferences and negotiations, including any meetings with adverse or associated parties and their attorneys or agents.
• Review and approve as to form federal and state grant applications annually.
• Necessary attestations and opinions in regard to federal and state grants as required
• Certify and monitor compliance with federal and state statutes and regulations.
• Assist, plan and participate in federal tri-annual reviews.
• All communications shall be acknowledged within two (2) business days.
• Grant applications and agreements shall be reviewed and sent back within three (3) business days.
• Drafted and returned for review within 10 business days, and any subsequent revisions shall be made within an additional two (2) business days.
