RFP Description
The Vendor is required to provide marketing services to assist in the development of a strategy, design and implementation of its multi-faceted digital and traditional marketing and branding needs. - Provide ongoing media relations support to represent city unique story and milestones. - Specific marketing/communications needs the city has and services required. - Leverage multiple marketing and communication tactics including but not limited to public relations, advertising, social media, public engagements, outreach, and others. - Provide a platform for a targeted plan to attract businesses and residents, as well as communication to existing businesses and residents focusing on positive, relevant and timely events, news and projects. - Digital Media - Social Media: • The city currently manages its twitter and face books pages, but is interested in the company’s social media strategy for leveraging our platforms as part of the overall marketing and communications strategy and guidance on implementation. • Include creative content, a content calendar, campaigns, production (videos, photos, infographics), and other. - Additional services, on an as-needed basis could include: • Copywriting and posting of content • Use of images • Data analysis and audience development - Email Marketing: - The City currently manages a monthly newsletter designed to highlight the events and news of the past month to its residents, businesses, and community partners. - The Company will analyze the current template, past editions and subscription list and make suggestions, as well as incorporate the newsletter into the overall marketing/communication strategy. - Additional services, on an as-needed basis could include: • Copywriting and development of content • Use of images and creative media • Data analysis and audience development - Marketing/Branding - The city currently has a logo, tagline and key messaging. - The city would look to the company to continue the implementation of this messaging, as well as develop new ways to build upon and revive the cohesive marketing strategy. - Web, social media, mobile marketing, display advertising and traditional means to bring awareness to city and promote initiatives important to the city are expected. - Specific tasks include: • Recommend a sustainable strategy to integrate creative brand messaging into a marketing/communication plan for the city. • Identify the types of content they suggest producing for businesses, residents and events/projects/campaigns. • Development of materials and display advertising • Creative services, such as design, illustration, photography and videography • Develop contact strategy or plan for how the brand messaging will be delivered to an internal and external audience using traditional and non-traditional distribution. - Budget: $500,000. - Contract Period/Term: 3 years
