The vendor is required to provide strategic communications and creative support for agency long-range transportation planning and short-range programming; community and economic development; stakeholder facilitation; website, graphic design, and social media support; and media relations.
- Strategic communications advising
• Provide messaging and communications strategy for key plans and initiatives
• Help shape narratives around complex topics
• Understand and navigate state political and media landscape
• Advise on public engagement and outreach strategies
- Website support
• Maintain and improve agency-maintained word press-based websites: wfrc.utah.gov, unifiedplan.org, and wasatchchoice.org
• Provide development support (e.g., troubleshooting, accessibility, security, content management system training)
• Assist in future site upgrades or rebuilds
- Video production
• Develop short and long-form videos that explain essential concepts or support a particular communications campaign
• Coordinate scripting, filming, animation, editing, and final production
• Capture footage of events, communities, and infrastructure as needed
- Graphic design and brand direction
• Advise and continue to define agency visual brand identity
• Create infographics, flyers, reports, presentations, and social media
• Support outreach materials tied to transportation planning and growth strategies
• Align with agency visual identity and accessibility standards
- Budget: $75,000 annually
