RFP Description

The vendor required to provide communications and marketing services to the coordination of marketing, brand, and communications strategies across all of our campuses.
- University constituents must seek help from university approved freelancers in the following areas:
•    Photography
•    Videography
•    Graphic design
•    Writing, editing, and proofreading
•    Web and digital services
•    Audio
- Photography
•    Brand photography should reflect our story. 
•    We are a community that is ambitious yet generous, comprehensive yet precise, driven yet perceptive, timeless yet inspired, and interconnected yet distinct. 
•    Photographs taken and selected should be representative of these ideas. 
•    These pillars must be embodied in the freelance photographer’s work.
- Graphic design
•    Graphic design brings our brand to life visually. 
•    We are a community that is ambitious yet generous, comprehensive yet precise, driven yet perceptive, timeless yet inspired, and interconnected yet distinct. 
•    The work of a freelance graphic designer should be representative of these pillars while upholding the institution’s brand standards and aligning with any relevant campaigns.
•    Graphic design requests include but are not limited to:
o    Large publications
o    Marketing materials
o    Print graphics
o    Digital graphics
o    Animations
o    Presentations
o    Illustrations
o    Web design
- Videography
•    Videography brings our brand to life visually. 
•    We are a community that is ambitious yet generous, comprehensive yet precise, driven yet perceptive, timeless yet inspired, and interconnected yet distinct. 
•    The work of a freelance videographer should be representative of these pillars while upholding the institution’s brand standards and aligning with any relevant campaigns.
•    Video requests include but are not limited to:
o    Long form videos
o    Short form videos
o    Event videos
o    News videos
o    Athletics videos
o    Web videos
o    Animated videos
- Writing, editing, and proofreading
•    Writers and editors bring city brand to life in the written word. 
•    We are a community that is ambitious yet generous, comprehensive yet precise, driven yet perceptive, timeless yet inspired, and interconnected yet distinct. 
•    The work of a freelance writer and editor should be representative of these pillars while upholding the institution’s brand and editorial standards and aligning with any relevant campaigns. 
•    Writing and editing requests include but are not limited to:
o    Public relations and news writing
1.    Feature content
2.    News releases
o    Event coverage
o    Long-form writing
o    Copywriting
o    Web and digital writing
o    Translations (in particular Spanish translations)
- Web and digital services
•    Brand comes to life on our website and across our digital platforms. 
•    We are a community that is ambitious yet generous, comprehensive yet precise, driven yet perceptive, timeless yet inspired, and interconnected yet distinct. 
•    The work of a web or digital freelancer should be representative of these pillars while upholding the institution’s brand standards and aligning with any relevant campaigns. 
•    Web and digital service requests include but are not limited to:
o    Web development, front end and back end. 
o    User testing and focus group-based research 
o    Search engine optimization (SEO)
- Audio
•    Audio narrates city brand story. 
•    We are a community that is ambitious yet generous, comprehensive yet precise, driven yet perceptive, timeless yet inspired, and interconnected yet distinct. 
•    The work of audio freelancers should be representative of these pillars while upholding the institution’s brand standards and aligning with any relevant campaigns.
•    Audio requests include but are not limited to:
o    Voice talent
o    Editing
o    Broadcast engineering
o    Sound designers (audio and videos, pre- and post-production).
